The figures you type
Your salary, your pension contributions, the price of a house — none of it is sent anywhere. Every calculation on this site runs in your own browser, as JavaScript on the page you are already looking at. There is no server that receives it, no database it is written to and no log it appears in.
This is checkable rather than a promise. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use a calculator: you will see the page's own files load and then nothing further. The only requests this site can make after that are for advertising, and those carry no part of what you entered.
Cookies
No cookie is set until you choose one on the banner. Your choice itself is stored in a cookie
(briskcal_consent) so you are not asked on every visit; it lasts 180 days and contains nothing
but which categories you allowed.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics records aggregate page views — which pages get used, roughly where in the world from, on what kind of device. It never receives the figures you type. If you allow advertising cookies, Google's advertising partners may set their own to measure and personalise the ads shown. Decline either and it is simply not loaded; the site works the same.
Advertising
This site is paid for by display advertising through Google AdSense. Ad scripts load only after you have allowed advertising cookies, and only once the browser is otherwise idle. Google's own description of how it uses data is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
What is not here
No account, no sign-up, no email list, no newsletter, no support chat widget, no session recording, no heatmaps, no fingerprinting, and no data broker. Nothing is stored about you that you did not agree to on the banner.
Changing your mind
Clearing this site's cookies in your browser removes your stored choice, and the banner will ask again on the next visit.
